Godrej Agrovet Ltd. (GAVL), a company belonging to the Godrej Group, has launched Nature's Basket - The First of its - kind store at Warden Road, South Mumbai, Selling a variety of Vegetables, fruits, and herbs, thereby introducing the concept of  'farm-to-plate' to Mumbaities.
Sprawled over an area of 2000 sq. ft, the outlet will sell a variety of local and exotic culinary ingredients like vegetables, fruits and herbs.

 The Rs. 4,000 crore Godrej group has finally forayed into food retailing. Group company Godrej Agrovet has launched Nature's Basket, which would sell fresh farm produce based on the concept of farm - to - plate. It has opened its first store in South mumbai and plans to setup another 4 - 5 such stores in the city.

 Mumbaikars were introduced the concept of 'farm to plate' with the launch of nature's Basket from Godrej Agrovet Ltd. The first of its - kind store, located at Warden Road, offers a variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs. Sprawled over 2,000 sq ft area, the local and exotic culinary ingredients are competitive priced.

  Tanya Dubash chomps on a fresh carrot and smiles into the camera, confessing that she is always uncomfertable posing for photographs. The young director of Godrej Industries is planning to buy a lot of her salads and vegetables from her latest venture, Nature's basket, a one stop shop for local and exotic fresh farm produce.
